Room A
The S’Arcu ’e Is Forros Temple A, in the countryside near Villagrande Strisaili, is 17 metres long and includes four areas bordered by walled rooms (fig. 1).
The first room of the temple is entered from a trapezoid shape corridor (fig. 2) that is splayed towards the interior (length 2.10 metres, width 1-1.50 metres).
The room (fig. 3) is rectangular in shape (length 3.10 metres, width 3.60 metres).
An urn used for ritual ablutions was used in the corner of the wall to the left, the base of which was trapped underneath the floor (fig. 4).
The latter is made from thick clay, with carbon residue inside. A sword fragment and a part of an askoid jug decorated with geometric patterns were also found in this part of the dig.
