Museum of contemporary art ''Su logu de s'Iscultura''
The Tortoli Museum of Contemporary Art Su logu de s'Iscultura was set up in 1995 and has two exhibition areas. The first is on the ground floor of the former civic market, in a nineteenth century building which was the prison. The other is an openair museum, a true Park of Sculpture with works positioned along the town streets and in the surrounding area (fig. 1). These are large works made from various materials (steel, iron, copper, fiberglass, concrete). The visitor can interact with the work directly and deal with the current challenges of contemporary art.
Along the route you can admire the works of Maria Lai (fig. 2), Giovanni Campus (fig. 3), Massimo Kaufmann (fig. 4), Mauro Staccioli (fig. 5), Antonio Levolella, Umberto Mariani (fig. 6), Ascanio Renda, Igino Panzino, Alex Pinna, Hitetoski Nagasawa, G. Pardi (fig. 7).
